Thanks for posting guys. As you know it takes time and continual commitment to succeed with automatic golf. It doesn't guarantee great golf, only puts the odds in your favour.

Talk to you soon. Good golfing,

Hi Cam,
I can attest to playing auto.
Saturdays stableford had mixed results. Started with a birdie ( 3 points i didn't get a shot on the first) Hit 2 awesome drives on 7th and 9 th holes, couldn't find the balls, took a wipe( me thinks the social players hit them). Turned with 13 points with 2 wipes and a 1 pointer. Took a wipe on 1o then went par birdie, par, par par par birdie bogey. At my home course, holes 10 to 18 I don't get a shot till the 15th. So was really pleased with my 34 points, that's with 3 wipes and 2 one pointers.
What I found was that when I relaxed, wasn't concerned with distance off the tee, aimed for the middle of the green scored well from 11 to 18.
I also had great timing and tempo. I asked the guys I was playing with what my swing looked like. All of them said that I hit the ball so smoothly and effortless. I normally try to spank the ball as hard as I can.
My short game was very good on the second nine. Look at where I wanted to put the ball, looked at the ball pulled the trigger.
Anyone looking to play their best golf all the time try Camerons test and see how easy and effortless your game can be, when you play within your boundaries. It takes patience and persistance but the benefits are worth it.
Looking forward to next weeks matchplay.
Cheers Steady
